PHYLLIS A. DOMM, Ed. D.
Since her January 2008 diagnosis of aggressive PEComa, Dr. Phyllis Domm dedicated her intellectual and personal resources to investigating the disease history, related sarcomas, research focus and substantial challenges. In an effort to secure the best possible care, she identified that Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with its pathology, research and clinical team partnered with Massachusetts General Hospital cancer center presented the greatest and most expeditious solution set.
With more than 20 years' experience in human resources leadership positions in a variety of organizations, Phyllis A. Domm time and again demonstrated the ability to create a strategic vision and implement the operational changes required to bring it to fruition. She had an excellent track record of maximizing human assets in mergers, start-ups, consolidations, and turnarounds in a broad range of service sector companies, including healthcare, insurance, energy, and consulting that she developed through her roles at Human Resources for Intermountain Health Care, Medstar Health System, and Intracoastal Health Systems. As part of her mission on behalf of employers, she has worked diligently to design and implement programs that reflect the highest level of integrity and corporate values. Her book Human Risks and Resources has been recognized in business publications and Directors Education sessions. She served on the Board of Equitable Resources (NYSE EQT) for 11 years and chaired the Compensation Committee. Phyllis held an Ed.D. from Boston University, an M.A. and M.Ed. from Tufts University, and a B.A., with honors, from Mount Holyoke College.
