Join Our sPECial Forces - Ways to Be Involved
Let your creativity and talents become part of our efforts.
100% of the funds donated to The sPECial Fund / Dana-Farber Cancer Institute go directly to specific research in order to find treatments and cures for sarcomas and rare cancers.
Our patient support efforts are all volunteer. Trained committed individuals who assist patients with specific inquiries.

ADVOCATE
- Get involved in one of our events.
- Sponsor a fund raising event (we have the resources of an event planner to assist you).
- Speaking and education opportunities - Please let us know about opportunities and we'll get a speaker to you - lay or MD.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteer your talent to help us counsel and guide patients who are newly diagnosed or seeking more information. Often our inquiries seek direction on how to become their own best advocate. We provide this service by phone or email.
